GEORGE, Utah (AP) — Prosecutors say three suspects in a food stamp fraud case against a polygamous sect were re-arrested on suspicion of violating the terms of their supervised release by being in the same location on multiple days. Authorities say GPS monitors worn by Seth Jeffs, John Wayman and Preston Barlow revealed the meetings last week. The suspects each denied the allegations through their attorneys during a court appearance in St. George, Utah.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah health officials are still investigating how a man came down with Zika after caring for his infected father, but authorities said Tuesday they don't believe the virus was spread by a mosquito. The Utah Department of Health said blood samples collected from more than 100 people who lived near the now-deceased father and the results have been negative, indicating the unusual transmission wasn't from the biting bugs.

CENTERVILLE, Utah (AP) — A Centerville councilman has received pushback over a joke he said during a City Council meeting that encouraged motorists to run cyclists off the road. The Deseret News reports that Councilman Bill Ince's comment came during a July 19 meeting after Mayor Paul Cutler questioned how motorists should handle "aggressive" cyclists in traffic.

PARK CITY, Utah (AP) — A local Democratic official says former President Bill Clinton will be in Utah this month on a fundraising stop for his wife's presidential campaign. Summit County Democratic chairman Glenn Wright said Tuesday that Clinton will appear at a daytime fundraiser on Aug. 11 at a private home in Park City.
