CLEVELAND (AP) — Donald Trump has arrived in Cleveland. The presumptive Republican nominee and his wife flew from New York to the site of the GOP convention, where Melania Trump will address the delegates during the evening session.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Over angry and prolonged objections from anti-Donald Trump forces, Republican Party leaders have approved rules for their national convention. Leaders rejected demands for a state-by-state roll call vote, a discordant start to a gathering designed to project unity.

BERLIN (AP) — A man armed with an ax and a knife attacked passengers aboard a regional train in southern Germany. The man injured four people before he was shot and killed by police as he fled. Three of the injuries are described as serious. Another 14 people were treated for shock.

VIENNA (AP) — A document obtained by The Associated Press says key restrictions on Iran's nuclear program under an international accord will start to ease years before the 15-year deal expires. That will advance Iran's ability to build a bomb even before the pact runs out.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah's governor has signed a measure to let authorities jam drone signals and crash the devices specifically for flying too close to wildfires. The first law of its kind in the nation follows an incident in which a drone was sighted five times over one wildfire, causing firefighters to ground their aircraft.
