The cry to Washington grows - Do something about the price of gas!

Senate Democrats tried to tax the windfall profits of the five largest U.S. oil companies, and failed. GOP senators blocked the measure, arguing that the Democratic legislation wouldn't solve the country's energy crisis. ABC News Washington Correspondent Pam Coulter followed the proceedings. She talked to Grant and Amanda this morning about the bill, and the provision that would have provided tax breaks for alternative energy use.

**So what's the answer?**So - if the Democratic idea wasn't right - what will help? There must be something our leaders can do.
