Migrant ship capsizes...Campus shooter still at large...Iran: No inspection of military facilities

ROME (AP) — Officials say most of an estimated 700 people are still missing after a migrant ship capsized south of the Italian island of Lampedusa, triggering a major air and sea search. Italy's ANSA news agency says only 28 people have been rescued so far. The capsizing comes amid a wave of migrants trying to leave Libya for Italian shores. So far, at least 900 have died trying this year.

DOVER, Del. (AP) — The search for a shooter continues near Delaware State University. Authorities say three people were wounded by gunfire at an authorized campus cookout. DSU President Harry L. Williams says students have been told to stay inside their dormitories. Non-students were asked to leave campus.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran says if there is a nuclear deal with world powers, it won't include allowing inspectors into military facilities. A senior commander in Iran's Revolutionary Guard says that would be like "selling out." Gen. Hossein Salami, the Guard's deputy leader, says on state TV Iran "will not roll out the red carpet for the enemy."

WASHINGTON (AP) — The world's financial leaders say they're determined to work toward "a more robust, balanced and job-rich economy" though potential stumbling blocks lie ahead. The leaders wrapped up a three-day meeting in Washington saying that the most immediate threat to global economic stability could be from Greece if it defaults on its bailout obligations and leaves the euro currency group.

NEW DELHI (AP) — There's a big protest by farmers in India today. Tens of thousands of them are rallying in New Delhi to protest the government's plans to ease rules for obtaining land for industrial projects. They say that's trampling on hard-won rights and protections for the poor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and industrial leaders argue that the rules should be simplified in order to boost manufacturing and entice foreign businesses.
