A revised indictment unsealed in federal court in Brooklyn today says the latest suspect (Dilkhayot Kasimov) allegedly conspired and attempted to provide material support to a terrorist organization.
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) — Police say seven children and one adult, all related, have been found dead in a home on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Officers went to the home after being contacted by a concerned co-worker of the adult. Officials say foul play is not suspected and that the juveniles range in age from 6 to 16.
FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — The defense has rested in the murder trial of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez. His lawyers called just three witnesses. Jury deliberations are expected to begin after closing arguments. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to the 2013 killing of a former football player Odin Lloyd.
NEW YORK (AP) — The NBA is set to become the first U.S. professional sports league to visit Cuba since President Barack Obama ordered diplomatic relations between the countries to be restored. The NBA will hold a three-day development camp and host clinics for youth late this month.
