MOSCOW (AP) — At least 43 crew members of a Russian freezer trawler have been killed after it sank in the Sea of Okhotsk off of the Kamchatka Peninsula. The Interfax news agency says drifting ice in the chilly Pacific waters may have played a role. The Dalny Vostok had an international crew of 132. Sixty-three crew members were rescued. Dozens of ships are looking for those unaccounted for.

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to remain in Switzerland for the time being for the Iran nuclear talks. Iran, the U.S. and the other five world powers have continued talks past the March 31 target date for achieving the framework for an agreement on capping Tehran's nuclear program.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas lawmakers are making modifications to a religious rights bill that critics say is anti-gay. Gov. Asa Hutchinson was set to sign it until he was encouraged to issue a veto by Arkansas-based Wal-Mart. Hutchinson says his son Seth was among those who signed a petition asking him to veto the bill. Meanwhile, lawmakers in Indiana are also making revisions to a religious rights bill that generated a national firestorm of criticism.

WASHINGTON (AP) — New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez is due to appear in federal court in Newark on Thursday to answer to corruption charges. Menendez is accused of accepting nearly $1 million in gifts and campaign contributions from a wealthy Florida eye doctor in exchange for a political favors. Dr. Salomon Melgan has also been charged. A defiant Menendez has told cheering supporters that he's "not going anywhere" and will be "vindicated."

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Troubled millionaire Robert Durst is set to appear in court in Louisiana Thursday to face weapons charges. Durst was arrested last month at a New Orleans hotel, allegedly with a pistol and marijuana. Durst, the subject of a recent HBO documentary, also faces a murder charge in California.
