CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — An Enoch man has pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges related to a 2014 incident. The St. George Spectrum reports that Sonn Berrett was sentenced to 30 days in jail for mistreating a young female horse and her mother. The animals were sent to a local horse sanctuary after animal control officers responded to a call about their condition. The judge told Berrett he can no longer own animals and must find a new home for his pets.
