The Communication Divide: Your Husband Isn't the Only Reason You're Not Communicating

On today's show we will be discussing what I feel is the #1 killer of marriages namely, ineffective communication. Traditionally when it comes to communication problems it's usually the men in our society that are seen as the major "barrier" to having healthy and effective conversations in marriage. However, I'm not convinced that is completely accurate. I believe that even though it might be the female in the relationship that tends to be the one most likely to push the talking, it may be the way they're pushing that is the actual problem.

During the show we will take an in-depth look at dynamics that create communication problems, namely the cycle of one partner pushing to talk which makes the other partner run which in turn drives the first partner to push even harder. We will discuss some of the funny differences between how and why men and women communicate along with some powerful solutions to help both of you to feel more satisfied in your conversations. All of that on the Matt Townsend Show this Saturday May 3, 2008 at 11am on KSL News Radio 1160AM or 102.7FM .
