BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho's online marketplace will offer 261 different coverage plans to individuals and small businesses wanting health insurance. The state's health exchange board members approved five companies yesterday to offer the plans, which will open for enrollment Nov. 15. The board did not set any prices for the plans but in 2013, the average estimated policy was $240 monthly.
HELENA, Montana (AP) — Montana, Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials say they investigating a Missoula man's claim that he purposefully ran down a pair of wolves along the Idaho-Montana border. The Great Falls Tribune reports that Toby Bridges posted on Facebook last week bragging that he killed two wolves in his wife's van. Authorities are trying to determine if they can do anything since Bridges used social media and he doesn't have any physical evidence.
SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) — A northern Idaho woman has been charged with a felony after police said she chewed up the upholstery of a patrol car seat. According to court records, 42-year-old Staci Spence has not yet entered a plea. A phone listing for Spence could not be found.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Emergency responders rescued a 54-year-old man who fell nearly 70 feet at a steep overlook in southwest Idaho. Officials say the man tripped Saturday while walking on top of the wall that lines the Dedication Point overlook just south of Kuna. Kuna Rural Fire District officials say the man was conscious but had suffered a head injury and showed signs of internal injuries.
