NEW YORK (AP) — In a story Jan. 14, 2020, about the arrest of Michael Avenatti, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the lawyer Steven Bledsoe represents Avenatti. He represents a person who Avenatti is accused of defrauding. The Associated Press also erroneously reported that Avenatti's second New York trial was scheduled to start in May. It is tentatively scheduled for the end of April.
