(KSL News) -- The woman accused of helping her husband kidnap Elizabeth Smart has filed for divorce.
Wanda Barzee has been at the Utah State Hospital since the beginning of the year after a judge ruled she was mentally incompetent to stand trial. She filed divorce papers in a Provo court last month.
Her husband, Brian David Mitchell, a self-proclaimed prophet, and Barzee, are both charged with kidnapping Elizabeth Smart from her home in 2002.
