SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A woman accused in the killing of a pregnant woman last year has entered a plea.

Yesterday, 19-year-old Andrea Martinez pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted aggravated robbery in connection with the August death of 30-year-old Darla Woundedhead.

Authorities say Woundedhead was seven months pregnant when she was shot to death in her motel room at the Dream Inn. She later died at the hospital, where doctors were able to deliver her daughter by emergency c-section.

Martinez is set to be sentenced on January 22nd. She faces up to life in prison.
