(KSL News) -- Police arrested a man suspected of burning his baby.
Police received a tip with the description of Eric Jones and his vehicle. They spotted him on I-15, pulled him over and eventually booked him into jail.
Jones' son, Malacah Marsalis, went to the University of Utah burn unit last week with severe burns on the lower half of his body. The baby's mother found the burns after he'd had spent time with Jones.
Police talked to Jones last week over the phone and arranged an interview, but he never showed up.
