(KSL News) Conservative talk show host Sean Hannity was in Salt Lake today.
He spoke to several hundred avid listeners at the Capitol Theatre.
Hannity has been traveling the country for the past month or so, speaking to GOP gatherings like this -- "rallying the troops" as it were, to urge voters to go to the polls next Tuesday.
Today's visit was sponsored by KSL Newsradio.
After his remarks today, I asked Hannity if he thinks the Republicans can hang on to both houses of congress next week.
Sean Hannity/ Talk Show Host: "If I had to guess, they're going to lose a few senate seats, three or four, and the house is too close to call. I've looked at district by district, and a lot of it is going to be about turnout. It's what we call a base election. Will the democrats get their base out, will the republicans get their base out? So it's going to be very interesting to see."
Hannity spoke at length about the war in Iraq. He recognized three Utah families in the audience who have lost a soldier, and thanked them for their sacrifice.
