SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley will be in Finland this weekend to dedicate the church's newest temple.

The 96-year-old leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be in Helsinki to preside over the temple dedication ceremonies on Sunday.

But on Saturday night, LDS youth will display their talents at a cultural celebration. Hinckley launched the tradition a few years ago to involve young Mormons in the festivities surrounding a new temple.

The Finland trip is evidence Hinckley has regained some of his health since his surgery back in January. That's when doctors removed a cancerous growth from his colon.

The Helsinki Finland Temple will be the church's 124th temple in the world.
