Chelsea Hedquist reporting The way to a hotel guest's heart just might be through the bathroom. What's more relaxing than a warm bath in a jetted tub, or a hot shower under a rain bath showerhead? More and more hotel guests are looking for these kinds of bathroom luxuries, and more and more hotels are providing them.

"What you see here, we have a very deep soaking tub and this is standard in all of our guest rooms," says Grand America Director of Rooms Anthony Bartholomew. "And then, for those people who like the shower you can see a very beautiful, two-sided glass, two-sided marble experience."

But the Grand America isn't the only hotel offering bathroom luxuries. Richard Penner is a professional at Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. He sees a trent of hotels paying closer attention to the powder room.

"Bathrooms are certainly getting larger, for one thing, says Penner, "and some hotel companies are willing to accept a smaller bedroom in order to make the bathroom larger."

Major hotel companies like Hyatt and Westin have jazzed up their bathrooms. Marriott International is next. "More and more, our customers are telling us that the shower experience is one of the most important things in the room," says Marriott spokeswoman Stephanie Hampton.

Marriott is in the process of installing rain bath showerheads, new vanities, and curved shower curtain rods. So even if you can't quite spring for Italian marble at the Grand America, you can still have a luxurious bathing experience when you're traveling.
