Five years after the September 11 attacks, the date remains unpopular for weddings. Wedding places like Scene Makers in Salt Lake City don't see the usual hustle and bustle they see on other days.
"It's a slow day," says Laura Harrison. "We don't have any weddings today."
Laura Harrison is the wedding coordinator at Scene Makers. She says the date obviously has something to do with the lack of business. But she says some have tied the knot on 9/11.
"It's not my job to say are you sure you want to do this on September 11th?" she says. "It's kind of a sad day, we really didn't discuss it."
"In observance of September 11th, I would never choose it. I think it's sad how only a few years have passed, but people tend to forget so quickly."
