(KSL News) One of the separated Herrin twins is recovering tonight from another surgery.

Doctors operated on four-year old Kendra to break up scar tissue that was causing a bowel obstruction. They also removed pins from her pelvis placed during reconstruction surgery.

Doctors are pleased with this latest surgery.

Primary Children's Medical Center says she could spend 48 hours in intensive care.

Kendra and sister Maliyah had moved to regular hospital rooms last week.

The girls' parents say Maliyah is healing well.
