(KSL News) -- Parts of Washington County are without power at this hour.

The planned outage has affected residents from Virgin to Zion National Park.

Crews need to replace a power pole damaged during the Kolob Fire back in July.

Some businesses are open, but many are closed for the day. The elementary school and library are closed. However, Zion Naitonal Park is open but will not be showing movies at the museum.

The outage is expected to last until 8 tonight.
