DRAPER, Utah (AP) -- A man who was paragliding above a Draper park fell 75 feet and survived after being hit by a remote-control plane.

It happened Friday when 31-year-old Wade Hutchinson of Aladdin, Wyoming, was taking a spin above the park. Hutchinson's paraglider was hit by the model plane and folded up, leading to a long fall for Hutchinson.

Police say Hutchinson was fortunate because he landed on a steep slope, which softened his landing. Police say his injuries were NOT life-threatening.
