(KSL News) Highway 68 is now open after a fire forced authorities to close it.

The fire began around 6:00 last night, just south of Saratoga Springs.

High winds made it difficult for firefighters to fight the fire. An estimated 100 acres have been burned.

The fire came within a mile and a half of homes, but no one was evacuated. No word this morning on containment.
