DRAPER, Utah (AP) -- A groundbreaking ceremony will take place this weekend as the LDS Church breaks ground on its newest temple.
Tomorrow, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will dedicate the site for the church's Draper Temple. President Gordan B. Hinckley and other church leaders will be on hand for the ceremony.
The 57-thousand square-foot temple will sit on 12 acres at 2000 East and 14000 South. It's the third LDS temple in the Salt Lake Valley.
The ceremony will be invitation-only. However, proceedings will be broadcast on the church's satellite system to nearby stake centers. The event begins at ten a-m.
