(KSL News) Firefighters suited up in the heat to battle a grass fire in Murray.

The fire burned about an acre near 4850 S. 500 W. before crews got it under control. They spent the afternoon just mopping up hot spots.

Fire crews say it could be suspicious, but they have not determined a cause yet.

Firefighters say in addition to dealing with dry and windy conditions, staying cool is a big concern in all these summer fires.

Kevin Potter/ Battalion Chief, Murray City Fire Dept.: "We just make sure people get hydrated. All the rigs are carrying their own water, keeping some cool drinks on board. The other issue is tryig not to dress too heavy. Nothing else you can do, really. You know, it's tough. The heat takes it out of you real fast."
