Brooke Walker Reporting It was a day of celebration here in Utah; the Fourth of July fun began bright and early.

Many towns took their celebration to the streets. Many people didn't want to wait around for the fireworks.

Eyes went to the skies first thing this morning as an F-16 fly over began the Fourth of July fun in Ogden. After that, it was ground level good times.

From marching bands to crazy clowns, crowds enjoyed it all.

It was a similar scene down South in Provo. The Freedom Festival Parade is always a favorite. This year was no exception.

There were a lot of smiles and a lot of waves. Even the Governor was dishing out high fives.

We spotted some familiar faces as our own KSL float made its way down the street, followed closely by this rather popular star athlete.

Patriotic energy was flying high in Park City. Their parade began early afternoon with a birthday bash, extraordinaire.

"What birthday is this for the 4th of July? 230th."

Those who didn't come dressed for the occasion, received help from a local fashion consultant.

Julie Vanderhout: "We've got these beads we decided to wear because some people don't dress pretty patriotic, so we're going to give them out to people so they look like the 4th of July."
