(KSL News) -- Tuesday is primary election day in Utah and it appears voters are interested in the election, and will go to the polls in significant numbers.

Do You Plan to Vote This Tuesday

  • Yes: 59%
  • No: 36%

Source: Dan Jones & Assoc. Dan Jones and Associates polled more than 600 voters this past week, and 59% say they will most likely participate in the Tuesday's election. 36% say they won't.

This will be the first Utah election where we'll be using new touch-screen voting machines.

Are You concerned about the new voting machines?

  • Yes: 15%
  • No: 82%

Are voters concerned about whether they'll work correctly? 15% say they are concerned; 82% say they're confident that the machines will accurately handle the voting.
