(KSL News) -- Former BYU film student Jared Hess is hoping to be box-office gold one more time. Paramount Pictures is bringing out the big guns for "Nacho Libre."

It's been over two years since the release of Jared Hess' smash hit Napolean Dynamite. But Nacho Libre is a much bigger challenge.

Jared Hess: "Everything was a lot bigger, having a crew that probably 20 times larger than what we had on Napoleon."

Jack Black stars in the film as a Mexican priest who moonlights as a Luche Libre wrestler.

Jared Hess, Director/Co-Writer of "Nacho Libre": "It explores the very unique and rich world of Luche Libre which is something that I adore. But at the same time this film definitely has my sense of humor and it's something I think people are really going to enjoy."

Some are asking how he got Jack Black.

Jared Hess: "It all just happened naturally. We all really wanted to work together. This seemed like a very fun project and role for him."

This is the first studio production Hess has worked on.

Hess says he's working on many different projects now. But, he's not looking to make a sequel to Napoleon Dynamite.

"Nacho Libre" opens in theaters on Friday.
