Alex Cabrero Reporting Winds have halted the search for three men missing in Utah Lake following a plane crash. Crews hope to possibly go back out and work all night, weather permitting, because winds are expected to be bad in the morning, too.

A second day of searching turned up no signs of the men.

"We haven't seen anything floating on the water at all today," searchers say. The recovery team is searching for the bodies of three men, after their plane crashed into the water during a storm Thursday night.

Still No Sign of Plane Crash Victims

Believed to have died in the crash are 35-year old Harold "Les" McGuire of Alpine and Ray Hooper, also 35, of Mapleton, who are both executives in a company called Producers Revolution. They were headed home from St. George after presenting a seminar Thursday night.

Also believed dead is 31-year old Blaine Pugmire of Springville, an experienced pilot.

Searchers found a lot of debris on the lake Friday, but none today. Using divers, gps grids, and sonar equipment, it is a very intensive effort and a slow process.

In the meantime, family and friends of the three men wait. They want to do more to help, but know there's nothing they can do to help the search crews.

Wade Sleater: "We feel like we know where they are at. We appreciate the contributions they have made."

Wade Sleater knew the men well. All three worked together, and were coming back from a St. George business trip when, on final approach to the Provo airport, something went wrong.

Both the family and searchers want closure.

"It's difficult. We'll find it, though."

Officials planned to keep sonar boats on the lake tonight.

Family and friends of the three men who were on board the plane are putting together a trust fund for the men's children. In all 13 kids are now without their fathers.
