(KSL News) A Utah construction worker has turned himself in for killing his wife.

West Wendover police say John Dietz and his wife were drinking and arguing inside their trailer when Dietz got very upset and shot the woman in the head, killing her.

Dietz is from Green River, Utah, and moved to a KOA campground in West Wendover last week, to begin a new construction job.

After the shooting, Dietz took off with his dog, but eventually surrendered to police.
