(KSL News) -- People driving Highway 6 have a new warning tonight. UDOT installed an electronic warning sign in Spanish Fork Canyon's "Apple Bend."

The solar powered sign activates when a car is going above 45 miles an hour. It will flash a slow down command, if the car has not slowed down.

A second sign, about 10 miles away, should start to monitor in the next couple weeks.

Transportation workers put these signs in after several serious truck accidents in the canyon.
