RIVERTON, Utah (AP) -- Riverton residents now have a new fire station.

Station 121 will be home to the Unified Fire Authority.

An opening ceremony will be held tonight for the new station, located at 4146 West and 12600 South.

Mayor Bill Applegarth and members of the City Council will be on hand for the ceremony beginning at 5:30 p-m tonight. The public is invited to attend.

The new station will go online and begin responding to call immediately after the grand opening.

The Unified Fire Authority serves the greater Salt Lake Valley.
