The Obama campaign kicked off, using the slogan 'It begins with us,' along with fundraising trips planned across the nation, and it could easily be a billion dollar campaign. That means the field of Republican candidates including Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman Jr. will be firming up their plan to run, in order to stay in step.

In spite of the anti-Obama sentiment among most Utahns, past supporters in the state say they're willing to vote for him again.

"I think he's moving the country in the right direction," said 2008 Obama Supporter Heather Hoffman. "And he needs a few more years to get things done. And honestly, I don't see any better prospects out there, Republican or Democrat."

But some former Obama supporters aren't sure about his 2012 run.

"I think we're seeing too much politics being played and not enough diplomacy," said former Obama supporter Steve Booth. "We need diplomats, not politicians."
