MILLCREEK — Unified police are asking the public to help locate a man who they say groped five women recently in a Wal-Mart, and then escaped from a pursuing store employee by jumping through a glass door.

About 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 19, a woman stepped out of a stall in the women's bathroom at Wal-Mart, 4627 S. 900 East. But as she did that, a man stepped out of the stall next to her and grabbed her arm, said Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke.

The woman was able to successfully fight the man off and ran. The man also ran off, but groped four other women as he made his way to the exit, Lohrke said.

A store employee saw what was happening and began chasing the man. The man took a 40-ounce glass bottle of beer and threw it at the employee, Lohrke said. He believes the store also locked all the doors to try and catch him. When the man got to the sliding glass doors at the entrance, he crashed through one and ran off.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to call the Unified Police Department at 801-743-7000.
