BLANDING, San Juan County — An Arizona man was killed early Friday after he swerved to avoid a cow and rolled his Ford Ranger on state Route 261, police said.
The man, 63, died from his injuries after crashing about 30 miles west and slightly south of Blanding, said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Evan Kirby.
The man was partially ejected from the Ranger. There were no other injuries in the crash, Kirby said.
The man's name wasn't immediately released. Kirby didn't know which direction the man was traveling or the precise time of the accident.
