CLINTON — A man is in critical condition following an ATV crash early Saturday morning in Clinton, police say.
At around 4:25 a.m., police received what was originally a call for an ATV noise complaint at 810 W. 1520 N. in Clinton, according to Clinton Police Chief Bill Chilson.
Upon arrival, officers found a group of people surrounding a man, 27, laying in the street after reportedly rolling his ATV, Chilson said. Officers immediately began treatment on the man and called for a medical helicopter.
The man, who remains unidentified at this point, was transported to University Hospital in critical condition, according to Chilson. Alcohol was "possibly a big factor" in the crash, said Chilson. It is not known whether the man was wearing a helmet.
