ABINGTON, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say an 11-year-old boy has been shot in the face with a handgun by another boy inside a Massachusetts home.
The Enterprise reports (http://bit.ly/2cddeVV ) it happened just before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in Abington, about 20 miles southeast of Boston.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says the victim was taken to a hospital, where he's listed in stable condition. His name has not been released.
Authorities believe the shooting was an accident.
It's not known whether there were any adults in the home at the time.
No further information was immediately available.
