CODY, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming wildlife managers have trapped and relocated a female grizzly bear and her two cubs that were killing livestock on a grazing allotment.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department says the bears were captured on Monday near Pinedale.
The bears were relocated to an area of the Shoshone National Forest about 5 miles east of Yellowstone National Park in the northwest part of the state. The area is within the North Fork of the Shoshone River drainage west of Cody and is established grizzly habitat.
