LAS VEGAS (AP) — Officials say 4.1 million people came through the Las Vegas airport in May, another month of increases in the passenger count for the ninth-busiest airport in the country.
McCarran International Airport released statistics Wednesday that show traffic was up nearly 4 percent last month compared to May 2015.
The number of people flying in and out of the airport so far this year is also up 5.6 percent compared to the first five months of last year.
There was also a 4.2 percent increase in the number of travelers on domestic flights and a 2.6 percent increase among passengers on international flights.
McCarran ended 2015 with the third highest passenger count in airport history with more than 45 million passengers total.
