NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — Police southwestern Idaho have identified the man shot and killed in a drive-by shooting that took place earlier this week.
The Idaho Press-Tribune (http://bit.ly/28Qiptz ) reports that 25-year-old Ricardo Keith, of Alabama, died after getting shot from a passing vehicle in Nampa on Wednesday. Police say Keith was driving a separate vehicle.
Nampa police have since located the vehicle they believe was driven by the person who killed Keith. However, police are still searching for the suspect
A warrant for first-degree murder by robbery has been obtained for Jesus "A.J." Avila. He has been recently cited for misdemeanor drug charge and completed a four-year sentence earlier this year for aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substance.
