PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — More than 400 seniors are graduating from Bowdoin College.

Among the 460 graduates were 52 students from Maine, along with others from 39 states and the District of Columbia, and 14 other countries and territories.

Honorary doctorates were awarded to abstract painter Dorothea Rockburne; Olympic gold medalist Frank C. Shorter; Ford Foundation President Darren Walker; and Bowdoin Trustee emeritus Peter Small.
