LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say two men were arrested at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport on Friday for yelling at ticket agents after missing a flight.

Las Vegas police Officer Michael Rodriguez says the two men had an Alaska Airlines flight that left at 6:50 a.m. for Seattle but they arrived at the gate drunk ten minutes before departure.

Rodriguez says the airline agent refused to let them enter and told them they could try to make a Friday afternoon flight.

He says the men got irritated and began screaming at the agent.

Police were called and arrested the men on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

Rodriguez did not have details about the men's ages or where they live.

Alaska Airlines spokeswoman Halley Knigge says agents were working to re-book the men when they created a disturbance.
