ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) — Police say a man apparently took his life shortly after crashing his car into a St. George home.
Investigators say the man fled after the wreck Friday and was found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in the backyard of a nearby home.
The Spectrum of St. George reports (http://bit.ly/1CCYpnA ) there was significant damage to the front of the house, even though the car did not go completely through it.
The man's name was not immediately released.
The death is under investigation.
