WESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A former West Virginia National Guard armory in Weston is getting a new mission.

Media outlets report that the Lewis County Board of Education voted last week to buy the facility and convert it to a garage for the school transportation system.

The board will pay about $200,000 for the building and about 4 acres of land.

Board members say the existing garage has limited parking and needs updates.
