CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — The Lowcountry Food Crawl is giving residents in the Charleston area three days of healthy, local eating.
Festivities begin Thursday with a showing of the movie "Soul Food Junkies" in Mount Pleasant.
The event coincides with National Food Day which is celebrated on Friday.
A variety of events in the area on Friday include grocery store tours, volunteer farming, cooking demonstrations and health trick-or-treating.
Saturday will focus on the Charleston Farmers Market in downtown Charleston.
