Rethink Announces Addition of Student Activity Center, Making Their
Model the First Comprehensive Special Education Solution
NEW YORK, April 23,2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Rethink is pleased to announce
the launch of its Student Activity Center, a newly developed interface
for children featuring computer-based activities aligned with the
platform's curriculum, reporting, and progress monitoring tools. The
Student Activity Center makes Rethink the first comprehensive and
fully integrated special education performance management system to
address all the needs of special educators at the classroom, school,
and administrative level.

"We are thrilled to be offering this expanded platform to our school
district customers," says Daniel Etra, Rethink co-founder and CEO. "We
have now fulfilled our long-standing goal of providing districts
nationwide with a complete solution to effectively serve their
students with special needs."
The Student Activity Center completes Rethink's fully integrated model
by aligning student activities and data with the curriculum, progress
monitoring, and video-based training available to teachers on the
platform and providing district and school-level administrators
performance analytics on student IEP progress and staff engagement.
While school districts across the country have spent the last decade
and millions of dollars on the technology needed to monitor and
guarantee compliance with LRE and other special education mandates,
Rethink is unique in that it integrates all of the key components of a
successful special education program-Curriculum, Staff Training, and
Data Tracking-into one platform. In this way, Rethink not only
provides districts with much needed data on students with IEPs, but
also ensures that research-based teaching methods and quality measures
for evaluating student progress are in place, thus making data more
meaningful and reliable.
The Student Activity Center features fun, engaging, and educational
computer-based activities fully aligned with the platform's existing
curriculum and customized to students' individual skill levels.
Students can log into the Activity Center at home, in the classroom,
or anywhere they have access to the Internet and complete customized
activities that help build and reinforce the skills they are working
on in the classroom.
All student activity is tracked in the Rethink system alongside any
classroom data collected by the teacher, giving teachers more
opportunities to reinforce the skills they are teaching in the
classroom, monitor IEP progress, and make data-based decisions about a
student's learning program.
"Research tells us that students with disabilities make the most
meaningful progress when we can significantly increase learning
opportunities throughout their day. Rethink's new Student Activity
Center provides one more way - in addition to training for teachers,
paras, and family members - to engage students online and strengthen
learning at school and home. We know many students will benefit from
these computer-mediated ABA exercises, which are fully integrated with
Rethink's existing online special education platform," says Jamie
Pagliaro, Rethink's Executive Vice President and Chief Learning
Officer.
Rethink is quickly becoming the integrated solution for special
education programs nation-wide, offering a range of integrated
tools-including the new Activity Center-designed to address the needs
of students, teachers, and school and district administrators alike.
