ST. GEORGE — I hate cooking.

To me, cooking is just a means to an end and I’d rather find other ways to get food into my stomach (here’s looking at you, pizza delivery.) I hate the mess it makes, the amount of dishes it dirties, and mostly the time and energy it takes to create something that you will only enjoy for a brief moment.

However, Jay Baron loves cooking so much that he’s taken it to a whole other time-consuming level of difficulty. The St. George resident launched the Walking with Giants YouTube channel where he takes viewers through the step-by-step process of cooking tiny, extravagant dishes using tiny equipment and utensils.

Baron’s ant-sized portions of chicken noodle soup and tiny caramel apples are adorable and ridiculously small, and it’s mesmerizing watching him put it all together in such minuscule settings.

Baron’s unique videos have been featured in Time Magazine and have received millions of views on YouTube and Facebook.
