TEXAS — It might be impossible to have more fun with a toy than this Texas mom with a Chewbacca mask in a video posted Thursday.
In the video, posted to Facebook by Candace Payne, the mother enthusiastically says she bought the Star Wars-themed toy as a gift for herself, not for her children.
“At the end of the day, this is mine that I bought and I’m going to keep it as my own,” Payne says in the video, which has already racked up nearly 70 million views on Facebook in a little more than 24 hours. “I mean I’ll let them play with it, I’m not a bad mom — I’m not a jerk, but in all honesty, at end of the day it doesn’t go in their toy box, it goes in my room.”
That’s when Payne puts on the mask that also replicates the wookie’s famous roar and the following is a mix of laughter and roars.
“This is worth every penny!” Payne yells at one point in the middle of uncontrollable laughter.
It’s also worth every second watching the video, which has also been shared nearly two million times since Thursday afternoon.
