SALT LAKE CITY — Just like it does every spring in Utah, this past week, the weather changed from warm and sunny to intense hail and wind in a split second.
Utahns like to joke about how temperamental the weather in the Beehive State can be. You plan to go on a picnic in the mountains because it’s 75 degrees and sunny, but 30 minutes into your picnic, it’s suddenly violently snowing with 50 mile per hour winds. Classic Utah.
Well, we experienced such weather during the past week and again on Monday. An intense hailstorm hit much of northern Utah and many residents got awesome photos and videos of it.
Several Utahns also witnessed a gorgeous rainbow after one of the many rainstorms during the weekend.
