SALT LAKE CITY — The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the open house and dedication dates for two temples — Payson, Utah and Córdoba, Argentina.

The Córdoba Argentina Temple will be open for a free public viewing from April 17 to May 2, 2015, excluding Sundays. It will be dedicated in three sessions on Sunday, May 17. A cultural celebration will precede the dedication on Saturday, May 16, according to a news release.

The Córdoba temple will be the second in Argentina, the first in Buenos Aires. There are 380,000 members of the LDS Church in Argentina.

The free public open house for the Payson, Utah, temple will take place April 24 through May 23, excluding Sundays. The cultural celebration will be Saturday, June 6, and the three dedicatory sessions will occur Sunday, June 7.

The Payson temple, located at approximately 930 West and 1550 South, will serve about 22 stakes from Spanish Fork to Nephi, including approximately 78,000 LDS Church members. It will be the 15th temple in Utah.
