WEST VALLEY CITY — Pioneer Valley Hospital has changed its name to Jordan Valley Medical Center West Valley Campus and is undergoing renovation.

In addition to the name change and an updated façade, the 139-bed facility at 3460 S. 4155 West will come away with a newly remodeled women's and maternity center and a modern emergency department entrance.

"Our team is excited for all of the changes to finally come together," said hospital CEO Steve Anderson.

The campus will also see an expansion of services and staff, he said.

"These improvements not only reinforce the hard work of our health care professionals and medical staff, but they also promote the entire facility to match the health care needs of our community," Anderson said.

Jordan Valley Medical Center West Valley Campus, owned and operated by IASIS Healthcare, will host a grand opening celebration in early 2015.
