CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Likely presidential candidate Jeb Bush is scheduled to visit Las Vegas next week to help raise money for the Clark County Republican Party.
Group spokesman Nick Phillips said the former Florida governor will be headlining the annual Lincoln Day Dinner fundraiser on May 13 at the Orleans Hotel and Casino.
Tickets start at $150. Phillips said Bush isn't charging a speaker's fee, and all proceeds will go toward the Clark County GOP's general operations.
Bush is the younger brother and son of two former presidents, and is expected to formally launch a campaign soon.
Phillips said he expects all of the candidates in a crowded field of Republican presidential hopefuls will be stopping in Nevada over the next few months.
